Danny graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree with Second Class Honors from the University of Liverpool. Thereafter, he obtained the Certificate in Legal Practice from the Malaysian Legal Profession Qualifying Board in 2016. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Birmingham. He commenced his pupilage in boutique legal firm in Kuala Lumpur and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2021.
Following the increasing use of cryptocurrencies and other digital assets, Danny offers sophisticated and knowledgeable advices to clients on blockchain law, the regulatory status and frameworks of blockchain technology, the launch of ETFs, NFTs, derivatives as well as the regulations in Malaysia such as the Capital Markets and Services (Prescription of Securities)(Digital Currency and Digital Token) Order 2019 and the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007. Danny is also proficient in reading and speaking Mandarin, English and Malay.
