Darren heads the Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Darren Lim & Lee. His litigation practice extends from general and pre-litigation advisory works to acting as counsels in all level of Malaysian Courts.

During the years of practice, he has built up a portfolio of experience in a various area of practices, including civil and commercial disputes, construction disputes in particularly CIPAA, matrimonial disputes, arbitration and adjudication, winding-up and liquidation proceedings. Darren is also experienced in handling contentious and non-contentious probate and administration advisory matters. He takes a holistic and commercial approach in rendering advice to deliver effective solutions efficiently.

Darren also has a wide corporate portfolio where he handles matters such as regulatory compliance of companies in Malaysia. The breadth of Darren’s practice also involves him inactively rendering corporate advisory matters where he has been appointed as legal advisor for a few companies in Malaysia.

Darren also contributed in writing legal articles on “Asean Geosciences Cooperation” organized by the China-ASEAN Geosciences Cooperation Center (Nanning). He last wrote an article titled “Investment on Mining in Malaysia”.

Being proficient in reading and speaking Mandarin, English and Malay, he is the firm’s China Desk who actively builds network with contacts, legal firms and companies in China. He is also appointed as the Senior Legal Consultant of Grandlex & PMT(Nansha).
